Description
Carvers kept asking for a steady source of extra thick foam sheets in different colors to use for mounting hand carved images for printing. These foam sheets are easily cut to match the contours of your carving and will keep your fingers from getting so inky, as well as give you more even pressure as you print.
These can be either permanent or temporary mounts, depending on what kind of glue you use. I like to use a standard glue stick for temporary mounting when doing a print run, as it can easily be rinsed off with tap water. Gorilla Glue or epoxy will make a permanent seal to weather the elements.
These 6 mm thick sheets are 6 x 9 inches and I can fit 5 of them into a flat-rate priority envelope.
