Celebrations and a Sale!

It’s that time of year again and Piper is hoping you will help her out with the July 4th celebrations. She would love to have me hide out in the basement with her while the big booms and roaring air shows are going on, so she suggested that I mark the 4 x 6 and 3 x 4 sizes of Tan-Z Kut to 20% off through the weekend, hoping I can keep her company while packing orders. I managed to cut too many of the smaller sizes, so the piles are pretty high at the moment and it would be great to reduce the size of the stacks! Piper also thinks that if I make enough noise with tape and wrapping paper, she won’t notice the explosions quite as much. It’s worth a try!

In addition, there are some larger sizes of Grade B material available in the Bargain Basement, if you’re the adventurous type. They have surface dings and will require some extra sanding, acetone treatment or careful placement of images. These are the blocks I usually use, but there are too many for me to carve – I can’t keep up!

Happy Independence Day and Happy Carving!!

Happy/Sad Sale

Baloo with his squeaky ball.

Baloo came to live with me 10 years ago today and went over the Rainbow Bridge a year ago tomorrow. I have so many wonderful memories of this sweet boy and I’m still missing him every single day.

So, since I can’t give him a treat today, I want to share one with you in honor of the best dog ever. Today and tomorrow, all Tan-Z Kut is on sale for 10% off.

Puffins, Printmaking and Pawprints!

I already posted this on the general blog (over at stampeaz.blogspot.com), but I thought it might be fun to share it here, too. I thought it would be good to try and train myself to use the Stampeaz site blog more regularly, so I’m going to learn the ropes. (Perhaps a New Year’s Resolution starting a little bit early? We’ll see how that goes.) What better way than to wish everyone the very best of the holiday season — and the coming year! Besides, there are puffins!

Puffins, Printmaking and Pawprints!

The linoleum blocks were carved for Christmas cards by my mother many years ago. So, you see, I come by my printmaking obsession honestly!

And, of course, the pawprint is Baloo’s big foot. He had to keep a paw in the festivities!
